Nicky Whelan has been an Australian model, actress as well as a television host since May 10, 1981. Her first role was as Pepper Steiger in Australia. Her role in the 100 episodes of the soap drama Neighbors which aired from 2006 to 2007 helped make her famous in Australia. In Hollywood the actress began her career with two distinct projects. The first was Hollywood & Wine in which she played a young hopeful actress. After that, she landed a role as Maya, a very seductive medical student in Scrubs the ninth season. Suddenly, the show is cancelled. The actress continues the filming of a comedy by The Farrelly Brothers Good to shoot starring Jason Sudeikis's Owen Wilson then appearances in short series and B-Series films. In 2013, she landed her first role that was more publicized including six episodes of the series detective Franklin and Bash and her first ever permanent part in Chosen alongside Milo Ventimiglia. She plays in the first two seasons of the series and also gives the response to Chad Michael Murray. She then played supporting roles in two feature-length films that focused on planes. One was a TV film for SyFy's Flight 7500 that featured the actors of television shows. The other one can be seen in Le Chaos with Nicolas Cage. The role she plays is a Flight Attendant. Matador is a tv show that she created together along with Gabriel Luna. This thriller series where the actors play CIA agents, and is produced by director Robert Rodriguez however does not exceed a season with 13 episodes. A pilot of a different series, that hasn't been successful, is still being developed. The trailer for Borrowed Moments, a B series romance, was released by Brian Krause in 2015. She then starred as Josh Gad Kadi Kevin Hart and Kadi Hart in the comedy Witness for Rent. She also appears in the massive release of Terrence Malcolmick's experimental Knight of Cups. The actress is also in five episodes of Satisfaction.
