Andrea Elson

Andrea Hope Elson has been an American actor for several years. Elson began her career in TV as a child model and actress. Her most famous role was Alice Tyler, portrayed by Elson in CBS' science fiction series. Andrea was selected to play Lynn Tanner in the popular show ALF from 1986. The actress worked for various popular TV shows including Movies of the Day before making the decision to leave the industry and focus her attention to her family. Andrea Elson was playing Lynn Tanner her teenage daughter Kate and Willie - at a time in which she went through a turbulent period. In the 2000 retrospective of People Elson said developing as a young woman in front of the sitcom-viewing audience was difficult. When she was in New York City in 1969 Elson was raised in a world of travel because her advertising father was a salesman who traveled. When she was just ten years old, she lived between New York Chicago San Diego and Los Angeles. While in San Diego Andrea got an agent and got the part she auditioned for. Fusco said that ALF has a height of 285 and thus drink alcohol. When ALF became more popular, NBC said that Fusco could no longer have ALF drinking beer before the children. In 1995, he was found to have the lymphoma. This cancer was successfully treated and he remained in full recovery for the remainder of his existence.
