Anna Silk was the first daughter of Peter Silk (an academic) and Ilkay Silk (a writer, actor, director, producer and teacher at St. Thomas University). Her father hails from Britain and her mother is the "Turkish English-Cypriot expat." Anna's earliest memories involve attending rehearsals for plays as well as watching her mother's working. In her early years Anna appeared in a number of television commercials. Then, in November 1999 Anna moved to Toronto for the purpose of advancing her acting career. She eventually moving into Los Angeles, California, within the next decade. Seth Cooperman was introduced to Anna in Los Angeles at an acting workshop in 2007. They got engaged in 2009. Anna has since converted to Judaism at the time and Seth Cooperman got married in December of 2010 in Fredericton. The couple got married in April 2011, they renewed their wedding vows with a Jewish ceremony. Bo's relationship with Lauren was highlighted in CNN's top TV Couples ever and named Top Television Couple in 2013 by E! Entertainment Television. Anna's popularity on social media increased due to the popularity of her show.
