Amy Smart, an American actress and former model. Amy Smart was was raised in California, United States of America. Amy Smart began her modeling career in Italy. In 1996 she made her first appearance as an actor in the TV movie Her Costly Affair. Then, as a supporting character in the film Starship Troopers she struggled very difficult. The transition was difficult for Amy because she had change from modeling to performing. Models aren't regarded as the best actors, so they usually play smaller, less important roles. However, Amy was determined to keep going and stepped into bigger roles eventually starting with the show The 70s and the film Varsity Blues. Amy then moved into leading roles in the love story Just Friends starring Ryan Reynolds. The film was a major film at the box office and Amy has finally achieved the fame she had been seeking for more than 10 years. Amy went on to work in many of the greatest movies, including the Crank series with Jason Statham as well as Shameless in which she portrayed a character who remained in the spotlight for a long time.
